HGV and LGV Training Centre in Lancashire
Our HGV /LGV driver training prepares candidates to obtain their LGV Cat C1, C or CE licence, enabling them to drive goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes.
The course will provide the skills and knowledge to become a professional large goods driver.
Our training follows a FREE DRIVING ASSESSMENT so that we get a good idea of how many hours will be required to achieve the test standard.

Our training vehicle is specially chosen to make the conversion from car to LGV as simple as possible giving you the best possible chance of first time success. We carry out all our manoeuvring training in MEG Training’s dedicated grounds to ensure uninterrupted lessons that are delivered to your needs and requirements.
Outcome: On completion of our hgv or lgv driver training candidates will be ready to take a test to obtain their professional LGV driving licence and driver qualification card (DQC) enabling them to drive goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes.
To obtain a Cat ‘C’ licence all participants must first successfully pass the stage-by-stage process. Candidates will be fully supported by our dedicated, informed, friendly team who will be there to guide them through every step of the process. The steps to completion are as follows:
